Janet worked for over 20 years within the plastic and rubber moulding industry, having worked as Warehouse Supervisor and Production Manager she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with regards to the manufacturing industry.
Following her maternity leave in 2004, she then decided upon a career change and proceeded to study Law at Glamorgan University.
After completion of her law degree in 2008 she commenced work within the debt industry, working with private clients assisting with Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVA), Debt Management Plans, (DMP), Bankruptcies, and general debt issues.
Janet began her Training Contract with Slater Hayward Law whereby she was instrumental in installing and setting up the process for claims relating to Mis-selling of PPI. She was also the drive behind updating and installing the Case Management Computer System, enabling Slater Hayward Law to increase their client base without increasing their administration team.
Due to client demand Janet introduced the Commercial Debt Recovery department and again installed a modern efficient computer system which allows for complete control of all debt recovery processes in both pre litigation and litigation stages.
Janet has been married to her husband Hugh for over 14 years and has 4 children, 1 grandchild, 1 dog, and 9 fish, all of which keep her busy.
She is also member of Great Harwood and Rishton Rotary Club, and can be found at various times throughout the year selling raffle tickets, collecting funds for Rotary projects, and assisting with events held within the community.
